Hello world!
Ok, so here I am. I’ve read blogs for a long time and since my mind races, I figure I’ll try this as an outlet. So to iintroduce myself, I am Amy, a 30-something mother, wife & nurse. I have 2 kiddo’s, a son who is 8 & a daughter who is 6. I work with developmentaly disabled/mentally disabled folks currently but my entire nursing career until now was focused on pediatrics & case management. My current job allows me extreme flexibility with my schedule althought the pay sucks ass. I continue to do some case management on the side for some extra $$ but its hardly enough to justify the time spent working/worrying about my clients. I have 2 furry kids, Abner & Daisy. They are a pain but I love ‘em. I’m married to a 40-something guy who works group/shift work in a factory, if you know what that is, its horrible… a week of nights, week of afternoons & a week a days with your days off changing backwards every three weeks. No possible way to have a social life unless you happen to like the people you work with well enough to hang out…. and apparently he doesn’t. We have been married for 1 1/2 years, my 2nd & his 3rd. He has grown kids from a previous marriage & 2 grandkids.
Ok, so this is freaking BORING huh?
As soon as I figure this out, I’ll be back with some thoughts or a story or something….
